Please join us at one of our monthly meetings!
If you enjoy African violets and you would like to learn how to successfully grow and bloom them, the African Violet Society of San Francisco invites you to join us at our next meeting.
Membership affords you many benefits such as monthly meetings, field trips, access to new African violet cultivars, just to name a few! Free admission and parking. Bring a problem plant and cultural questions with you and get advise from one of our expert growers.
Information on joining our Society and the National Organization [www.avsa.org] will be available, along with culture sheets.
Meetings are held on the 4th Saturday of each month starting 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, in the Garden Room of the San Francisco County Fair Building at 1199 9th Ave at Lincoln Way, San Francisco.
Visitors are always welcome!
We are a friendly group of people who like to grow African violets and related gesneriad and are always looking to meet others with our shared interest. You are welcome to attend our meetings or contact us via email, whether you have a question about African violets or just curious about our club. Violets are like potato chips, you just can't have one!
We like to share new and old varieties, trade growing tips, create flower arrangements, and have fun doing it. We would love to have you visit with us.
